Heute Morgen wurden wir mit einem tollen Sonnenaufgang geweckt, das war so schön, wie uns die Sonne geweckt hat, es schmeichelt so sehr der Seele. Dann gab es ein leckeres Frühstück. Heute als besonderes Schmankerl gab es hauseigenen Speck und ein selbst gemachtes Bircher Müsli. Das Frühstück ist so üppig, dass wir gar nicht alles packen.

Nach dem Frühstück waren wir spazieren und habe die schöne Anlage und das Umfeld erkundet.
Nach einer kurzen Verschnaufpause machten wir uns auf den Spa-Bereich zu erkunden, der zu dieser Anlage gehört. Eigentlich benötigen wir das gar nicht, da wir im Chalet eine eigene 60 Grad Sauna, den Jacuzzi mit 36 Grad und eine schöne Regendusche haben. Aber egal, wir wollten diesen Bereich unbedingt erkunden. Es gibt fünf verschiedene Saunen, für jeden Geschmack etwas, ein kaltes Tauchbecken für nach der Sauna und einen großen Pool zum schwimmen, richtig warm und das im Freien. Im Ruheraum stehen ausreichend Liegen zur Verfügung, es gibt Decken, Handtücher, alles was man benötigt und ein kleines Bistro.
Den Nachmittag haben wir verbracht mit in der Sonne sitzen, im Jacuzzi liegen, saunieren und schlafen. Den Abend lassen wir romantisch mit einem eigens vor unserer Tür entzündeten Lagerfeuer ausklingen.
Gestern Abend waren wir noch zum Abendessen hier im angrenzenden Gasthaus. Als Vorspeise hatten wir ein warmes Wurzelbrot und als Hauptspeise ein Wiener Schnitzel mit lauwarmem Kartoffelsalat und Tafelpitz mit Kartoffeln, Spinat, Apfelkren und einer Mayonnaise. War lecker aber sehr viel.
Danach waren wir noch ausgiebig im Jacuzzi, das war so schön… die Wärme, die Massagedüsen…

Heute Morgen habe ich im Bett ganz aufmerksam gewartet, ob, wie ausgemacht, um 8:00 Uhr jemand das Haus betritt und uns Frühstück richtet. Habe sogar aus dem Fenster gespäht. Nichts. Drei Minuten nach 8:00 Uhr habe ich die Schlafzimmertür geöffnet und siehe da, da waren schon irgendwelche netten Leute da gewesen und haben uns so schön den Frühstückstisch gedeckt. Perfekt, nur war es leider zu viel.
Nach dem Frühstück haben wir uns dann auch schon gleich auf den Weg nach Salzburg gemacht. Gleich zu beginn schlenderten wir durch das Outlet Center von Salzburg, ist aber genauso wie all die anderen Outlet Shopping Center, also brachen wir den Besuch ab und fuhren nach Salzburg ins Zentrum. Dort bummelten wir durch diese schöne uns schon bekannte Stadt, kauften Mozartkugeln, probierten Salzburger Gin, aßen uns durch ein Käsegeschäft und kauften auch noch leckere Manner Kekse. Drei Stunden und sieben Kilometer später hatten wir dann aber auch genug, die Füße waren etwas schwer und der Hunger angefüttert.

Das nächste Ziel war dann der Hangar 7, in dem der Sternekoch Martin Klein kocht. Er hat dort ein Lokal (Ikarus), zu dem er immer verschiedene Köche einlädt, um bei ihm einen Monat lang zu kochen. Der Hangar 7 beherbergt aber hauptsächlich die Red Bull Hubschrauberflotte und die Formel 1 Fahrzeuge. Wirklich super zum ansehen, man zahlt keinen Eintritt. Im Café des Hangar 7 aßen wir dann noch Apfelstrudel mit Vanilleeis und Palatschinken mit Marillensoße. Genial. Nun, um 16 Uhr sind wir zurücktun lassen den Tag mit Sauna und Jakuzzi ausklingen, einfach ganz entspannt.
Heute Morgen um 9:00 Uhr starteten wir zu unserem langersehenden Wellnessurlaub. Bis Stuttgart regnete es ununterbrochen und dann kam endlich die Sonne. Nach unzähligen Baustellen und zwei Staus waren wir um 12:30 Uhr in Augsburg und beschlossen, dort die Mittagspause in dem Museum „Die Augsburger Kiste“ zu verbringen. Dort drin verbirgt sich in einem ehemaligen Spital die Augsburger Puppenkiste.
Nach Kriegsende begann Walter Oehmichen mit der Planung für ein neues Puppentheater im ehemaligen Heilig-Geist-Spital in Augsburg. Am 26. Februar 1948 war Premiere. Eröffnet wurde die Augsburger Puppenkiste mit dem Märchen »Der gestiefelte Kater«. Es folgten viele Charaktere, die der Puppenkiste ihre Einzigartigkeit verleihen. Der Kasperl, die Muminfamilie, Jim Knopf und Lukas, das Urmel, Bill Bo und das Sams sind nur einige aus der Reihe der geliebten Darsteller. Wir liefen mit vielen Kindern durch diese Ausstellung immer im Kopf mit dem Ohrwurm :
Eine Insel mit zwei Bergen und dem tiefen weiten Meer Mit viel Tunnels und Geleisen und dem Eisenbahnverkehr. Nun, wie mag die Insel heißen, ringsherum ist schöner Strand. Jeder sollte einmal reisen in das schöne Lummerland…
Es gibt aber auch einige neuen Puppen, die z.B. unsere jetzige Regierung zeigen. Im Museum werden Aufführungen nach wie vor angeboten. Auf jeden Fall hatten wir eine kurzweilige Mittagspause.
Dann ging es nach Ainring in das gebuchte Chalet. Das Chalet besteht aus 2 Etagen. Unten befindet sich eine wirklich große Wohnküche, mit einem Sofa, einer großen Essecke und einem großen Fernseher gegenüber der Essecke. Dann geht es ins Schlafzimmer, anschließend ins Badezimmer und dann in die Sauna. Sogar die Sauna hat einen Fernseher (insgesamt gibt es in 4 Fernseher). In der oberen Etage gibt es eine Galerie mit Kuschelsofa, ein Schlafzimmer und ein weiteres Badezimmer. Wir haben beschlossen, in der ersten Etagen zu schlafen, da der Ausblick dort schöner ist, es gibt einen Balkon. Vor dem Chalet gibt es einen Jacuzzi mit 36 Grad Wassertemperatur, von 8 Uhr bis 22 Uhr beheizt, eine Feuerstelle und Liegestühle. Also alles da, was man braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen bei schlechtem und gutem Wetter. Das Chalet kann man auch von keiner Seite her einsehen. Toll finden wir auch, dass die Bademäntel weich sind. Nun haben wir den Koffer ausgepackt, die vorbereitete Brotzeit aufgegessen und heizen gerade die Sauna ein. Wir werden noch einen Saunagang machen, dann ganz lange heiß duschen ohne Strom und Gas zu sparen. Für 19:00 Uhr haben wir einen Tisch im angrenzenden Lokal bestellt. Unser Plan sieht vor, dass wir dann den Abend noch im Jacuzzi ausklingen lassen.
Nun sind wir alle Vier in Urlaub. Lisa und Maik sind noch in ihren Flitterwochen an der Westküste der USA unterwegs und haben supertolle, erlebnisreiche Tage, was uns so sehr für die beiden freut. Wir reisen morgen nach Ainring ins Berchtesgadener Land und möchten uns 5 Tage so richtig toll verwöhnen lassen.
Der Luftkurort Ainring liegt auf 461m Seehöhe im Berchtesgadener Land in den Bayerischen Alpen direkt an der Grenze zu Österreich, nur 5 km von Salzburg entfernt. Die nächstgelegenen Städte sind Freilassing oder Salzburg (ca. 5 km) bzw. die Kurstadt Bad Reichenhall (ca. 10 km).
Vor ca. zwei Jahren habe ich den Podcast Paardiologie von Charlotte Roche (sie schrieb auch den Roman „Feuchtgebiete“) und ihrem Ehemann Martin Keß gehört. In diesem Podcast berichten die beiden, dass sie in den Bayern Chalets Urlaub gemacht haben und sich ihr Mann beschwerte, dass er im Morgenmantel um 8 Uhr auf der Terrasse saß, Charlotte Roche noch schlief und dann plötzlich jemand ins Zimmer kam, den Frühstückstisch deckte und Eier in einer Pfanne auf dem Herd briet. Ich sagte zu Thomas, das möchte ich auch, ein Ferienhaus ganz für uns alleine und trotzdem keine Arbeit mit dem Frühstück. Ich finde es herrlich, vom Frühstücksduft geweckt zu werden. Also machte sich Thomas auf die Suche und fand diese Chalets. Als wir die Bilder sahen, waren wir uns sicher, dass wir da mal hin wollen und haben gebucht. Dann kam Corona, der Wellnessurlaub wurde leider schon 3 mal verschoben. Die Besitzer dieser Chalets waren immer sehr entgegenkommend. Da wir eine Anzahlung geleistet hatten, die wir während der schwierigen Lage mit Corona für alle Hotelbesitzer nicht zurückgezogen haben, boten uns die Besitzer 100 Euro Preisnachlass, wenn wir die Anzahlung stehen lassen. Auch bekommen wir das Arrangement zu dem Preis, zu dem wir vor 2 Jahren gebucht hatten. Sehr fair, soviel Zinsen hätten wir auf der Bank nicht bekommen, denn inzwischen sind die Preise der Chalets deutlich gestiegen.
Morgen, nachdem Thomas (dann hat er Pause) mir nochmal einen Kaffee gemacht hat, geht es dann los. Die Fahrzeit soll etwa 5,5 Stunden sein. Wir freuen uns auf erholsame Tage und freuen uns, dass ihr uns und Lisa und Maik begleitet.
Nachdem wir am Montag noch gemeinsam mit einer Freundin eine Magen-Darm-Spiegelung haben machen lassen, kann es nun morgen, Donnerstag zum wohlverdienen Urlaub nach Kreta gehen und wir freuen uns schon sehr.
Wir waren bisher nur einmal in Griechenland, in Athen und auf dem Peloponnes zu einer Rundreise. Anfang Januar hatten wir uns entschieden, den Sommerurlaub in Europa zu verbringen, aus Vorsicht und Bedenken bzgl. Corona. Bedenken, dass evtl. unser Flug nicht stattfindet oder das Gepäck nicht ankommt, darüber machte man sich zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung noch keine Gedanken. Wir fliegen ab Frankfurt, Boarding ist um 4:15 Uhr. Super. Man soll mindestens drei Stunden vorab am Flughafen sein. Eine Stunde Fahrtzeit, d.h wir werden wohl um Mitternacht hier starten. Unser Hotel liegt im Norden von Kreta, nennt sich TUI MAGIC LIFE Candia Maris. Nun vor der Reise haben wir uns, wie immer, schon damit beschäftigt, was wir uns alles ansehen möchten. Gleich im Januar haben wir schon ein Leihauto gebucht. Nun, bei unseren Recherchen, musste wir feststellen, wie groß Kreta ist. Kreta ist die größte griechische Insel und mit rund 8261 Quadratkilometern Fläche sowie 1066 Kilometern Küstenlänge nach Sizilien, Sardinien, Zypern und Korsika die fünftgrößte Insel im Mittelmeer. Das heißt, wenn wir die Insel einmal komplett umfahren möchten, bräuchtest wir theoretisch etwa 15 Stunden – allerdings gibt es nicht überall gut ausgebaute Straßen, weshalb die Fahrt länger dauern kann und wir das ja nicht an einem Tag zu schaffen ist. Also haben wir ganz viele Ideen und Ziele wieder gestrichen und konzentrieren uns auf den Norden. Nebenbei bemerkt, habe ich gegoogelt, fährt man auf Kreta vom Norden in den Süden ca. 70 Km, die Entfernung bis Afrika beträgt 294 Kilometer (Libyen), bis Asien 180 Kilometer (Türkei) und zum europäischen Festland (Kap Maleas) 96,6 Kilometer. So gesehen ist das alles in der Nähe, denn von Frankfurt nach Kreta sind es 2.105,45 km Flugstrecke und Fahrstrecke (incl. Fähre): 2.763,08 km.

Wir haben wieder super gut geschlafen, obwohl die Betten im Hotel etwas schmaler sind als zu Hause. Vielleicht liegt es aber auch an der vielen frischen Luft, der Bewegung oder den vollen Bäuchen, auf jeden Fall waren wir heute morgen wieder super gut ausgeschlafen.
Nachdem wir uns am Frühstücksbuffet mit Eiern, frischem Obst, Käse und Brötchen gestärkt hatten, machten wir uns zu Fuß auf nach Palma. Wie herrlich war der Weg, immer am Strand entlang, weiter und weiter, nach 7 km machten wir zum erste mal eine Kaffeepause in der Sonne. Der Weg ging durch Dünen und schön gemachte Wege bis Palma. Ziel unserer Wanderung war die Kathedrale, die wir auch nach 10,5 km erreicht haben. Da wir noch nicht genug hatten, liefen wir durch Palma und fanden zum Mittagstisch eine schöne Tapas Bar, wo wir aber nur etwas Brot mit leckeren Tomaten und ein paar Garnelen aßen. Das war es so lecker. Nachdem ich gestern beim Shoppen nicht erfolgreich war, bot mir Thomas an, nun noch ein bisschen durch die Stadt zu gehen und evtl. noch etwas zu shoppen, wenn es sich ergibt. Wir liefen ja heute Morgen um 10:30 Uhr los, mittlerweile war es 15:00 Uhr, ich hatte einen schönen Pullover gekauft und nun gönnten wir uns noch ein Kaffee und eine Cola. Nachdem wir noch nicht wirklich müde waren, überlegten wir kurz, ob wir den Weg zurück zu Fuß gehen möchten. Wir überlegten aber nur kurz und entschieden uns für den Bus. Nach fast 24.000 Schritten, also 16,9 km, sind wir nun zurück im Hotel. Der Bus zurück fuhr sogar über die Autobahn, da der Weg so lang war. Wir ruhen im Moment auf dem Bett, so beim Ruhen spüren wir nun doch unsere Beine und uns fällt das Aufstehen für zum Abendessen nun doch etwas schwer. Koffer müssen wir auch noch packen, morgen geht es nach Hause. Um 6:00 Uhr in der Früh werden wir am Hotel abgeholt und werden dann so gegen 11:30 Uhr in Frankfurt sein. Uns ist das so angenehmer, anstatt ohne Hotelzimmer bis nachmittags auf den Abflug zu warten. Leider ist die Woche Mallorca schon vorbei, uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen und bestimmt kommen wir noch mal nach Mallorca.

Heute Morgen sind wir bei schönem Wetter aufgewacht und haben den ganzen Tag auf das schlechte Wetter gewartet, jetzt um 18:00 Uhr ziehen dunkle Wolken auf, es ist sehr windig und wir haben auch nur noch 17 Grad und keine Sonne, also kalt. Wir waren heute in einem Shopping Outlet, auf einem großen Markt in Inca und noch in einem supergroßen Einkaufszentrum, haben aber nicht wirklich viel geshoppt, sind nur gelaufen und gelaufen, war aber schön. Dieses Programm hatten wir wegen der Wettervorhersage gewählt und ich glaube Thomas wollte mich bei Laune halten. Shoppen geht ja immer. Zum Mittag haben wir uns wieder mit leckerem Schinken, Käse und Brot versorgt. Zurück im Hotel haben wir dann heute am späten Nachmittag das Leihauto zurück gegeben und sitzen nun in der Hotellobby und ich trinke einen heißen Tee und Thomas aber eine Cola mit Eis. So viel zu unserem Temperaturempfinden. Thomas hat gerade festgestellt, dass wir total untypische Mallorcaurlauber sind, wir wohnen in einem Hotel am Ballermann, waren kein einziges Mal im Bierkönig und auch nicht im Megapark und ggf noch schlimmer, wir hatten noch keinen Tropfen Alkohol in dieser Woche. Aber wir haben ja noch einen Tag Zeit. Für Morgen steht auf dem Plan, dass wir soweit am Strand von unserem Hotel aus laufen, wie uns unsere Füße tragen und dann ggf. mit Bus oder Taxi zurück fahren. Wir wissen aber noch nicht so genau, wie das Wetter sein wird, bisher haben alle Vorhersagen nicht gestimmt. Für morgen sind 19 Grad und wolkig angesagt, auch wissen wir nicht, wie weit wir am Strand überhaupt kommen, darüber werden wir dann morgen berichten.
Heute war schlechtes Wetter vorhergesagt. 17 Grad, Regen und für heute Nachmittag Unwetterwarnung. Wir beschlossen, mit dem Auto nach Palma zu fahren und bei Regen die 31 Kirchen zu besichtigen, sodass wir immer irgendwie im trockenen sind. Vorab zu sagen, wir waren in keiner Kirche, da wir gutes Wetter hatten. Am Morgen war es bewölkt und wir haben in dieser Zeit Santa Catalina, das ehemalige Fischerviertel mit seiner Markthalle besichtigt. Danach ging es mehr ins Zentrum, wir haben ein zentral gelegenes Parkhaus gefunden und dann schlenderten wir durch ganz Palma bei strahlendem Sonnenschein, ab und zu war es etwas windig. In Palma gab es eine Art Rittermarkt, auf dem wir kleine frittierter Fische zu Mittag aßen. Ich fand genügend Zeit zum Shoppen und auch ein wenig bummeln am Hafen war noch drin. In der Sonne haben wir Kaffee und Cola genossen und einfach dem vollen Treiben in Palma zugeschaut. Es ist in der Stadt schon richtig voll, kaum vorzustellen, wie es hier in der Hauptsaison ist. Die Preise auf Mallorca haben es in sich. Ein Café mit Milch kostet nur 2,30 Euro voll okay, aber ein Cappuccino, die gleiche Tassengröße wie der Kaffee kostet 4,70 Euro. Man überlegt sich ganz schnell, ob man Kaffee oder Cappuccino trinken möchte. Ein Bällchen Eis kostet, wenn man viel Glück hat, zwei Euro und in Palma in der Fußgängerzone bis zu 2,90 Euro, das finde ich schon sehr teuer. Für die kleinen Fische haben wir 18 Euro gezahlt. Wir haben volles Verständnis dafür, dass auch Mallorca durch Corona schwere Zeiten hinter sich hat, aber beim Eis und Cappuccino habe ich schon Grenzen, auch wenn man im Urlaub ist. Die Preise beim Mittagessen in den Lokalen waren aber immer in Ordnung, es geht alleine um das „schnelle zwischendurch“, das finde ich schade und man überlegt sich das ein oder andere Mal doch, ob man nochmal einkehrt oder weiter geht und sich im Supermarkt versorgt. Ach übrigens, wir haben beim Bummeln 14,2 km zurückgelegt.
So, morgen ist mal wieder schlechtes Wetter angesagt und das Meer hat auch heute schon richtig hohe Wellen, mal abwarten was wir machen, ich könnte noch shoppen….
